Pierre DELAUNAY

Pierre Delaunay exerce depuis 29 ans la profession de photographe à Ruffec, la petite ville des Charentes ou il est né en 1962. Il se sent comme Obélix, tombé dans la potion magique (en l'occurrence, le révélateur photographique, étant donné que ses parents étaient eux aussi photographes).

Ses photos laissent apparaître une approche humaine et sociale. La sensibilité de son travail reflète les émotions qui transparaissent de ses portraits.

Un grand nombre de ses portraits primés ont été exposés en France et à l'étranger. En 2003 il a reçu un QEP (mariage) et, en 2005, est devenu le premier Master QEP français.

Formateur et conférencier international, il est l'un des fondateurs du festival de photojournalisme Barrobjectif.

Pierre Delaunay has been a professional photographer for 29 years in Ruffec, a small town in Charente, France, where he was born in 1962. He feel as Obelix, that fell into the magic potion "revealing" (parents photographers).

His photographs reflect a humanistic and social approach. the sensitivy in his work reflects the emotions that emerge from the characters portrayed.

Many of his award-winning portraits have been exhibited in France and abroad. In 2003 he received a QEP in Marriage, and in 2005 he became the first French Master QEP.

Trainer and international lecturer, he is one of the founders of the festival of photojournalism (Barrobjectif).

Magdalena HERRERA

Magdalena Herrera est directrice de la photographie du magazine GEO en France depuis 2009.

Ancienne directrice artistique de National Geographic France de 1999 à 2009.

Études d’Histoire de l’art et Arts plastiques à Paris I-Sorbonne avant de commencer une carrière de photographe puis graphiste et directrice artistique dans l’édition et la presse.

Formatrice dans des séminaires éducatifs de photographie organisés par le World Press Photo, enseigne le photojournalisme à Sciences-Po Journalisme Paris et à Jamia Milia Islamia University, New Delhi, Inde.

Magdalena Herrera is a French citizen born in Havana, Cuba. She is presently Director of Photography at GEO magazine, France. She was Art Director and Head of Photography at National Geographic, France, since the launch of the French edition in 1999.

Based in Paris, she studied art history and aesthetics, earning an honors degree at the Sorbonne before starting her career as a photographer and graphic designer.

Frédéric SAUTEREAU

Frédéric Sautereau, né en 1973, est photographe indépendant.

La notion de frontière et de division est le thème central de son travail. Il a été membre de l’agence Oeil Public de 1998 à avril 2009. De juillet 1997 à avril 2000, il travaille sur les villes divisées : Belfast, Nicosie, Mostar, Jérusalem et Mitrovica.

De juin 2000 à août 2003, il se consacre au projet Lisières d’Europe. Il reçoit le Prix Fuji, en 2003, pour un travail sur le mur érigé entre Israël et la Cisjordanie. En 2006, il est le premier photojournaliste à dénoncer les exactions des militaires centrafricains contre les populations du Nord du pays. Pour ce travail, il reçoit le Grand Prix Paris-Match du Reportage Photographique en 2008.

En janvier 2009, il réalise un travail photographique sur les conséquences des trois semaines de guerre sur les populations palestiniennes. En janvier 2010, il se rend en Haïti, après le tremblement de terre. Il mène actuellement un projet sur le Hamas dans la Bande de Gaza qui a reçu le Visa d’Or de la presse quotidienne, en septembre 2010, à Perpignan.

Born in 1973, Frederic Sautereau is a freelance photographer.

His central themes are the dual notions of border and divide. He was a member of Œil Public agency from 1998 to April, 2009. Between July 1997 and April 2000 his work focused mainly on divided cities, namely Belfast, Nicosia, Mostar, Jerusalem and Mitrovica. 

From June 2000 to August 2003, he devoted himself to the Lisières d'Europe (The Edges of Europe) project. In 2003 he received the Fuji Prize for a work on the wall separating Israel and the West Bank. In 2006, he is the first photo journalist to denounce the exactions of the Central Africans militaries against the populations in the North of the country. For this work, he received the Paris Match Award in 2008.

In January 2009, Frederic crossed the Egyptian border into the Gaza Strip during the final days of the Israeli shelling. The resulting work chronicles the consequences of 3 weeks of war on the Palestinian population.
In January and April 2010, he worked in Haiti documenting the earthquake.
Frederic is currently working on Hamas in the Gaza Strip. This work received the Visa d'Or International Daily Press Award in 2010.

Philippe SCHLIENGER

Photographe indépendant, directeur de création dans une agence de communication et propriétaire d’une galerie d’art, Philippe Schlienger travaille depuis de nombreuses années pour d’importantes sociétés de luxe en marketing, communication, presse et patrimoine.

Ses images ont été publiées dans de nombreux magazines et plusieurs monographies et catalogues ont été édités sur son travail. Parallèlement aux commandes éditoriales et corporates, il mène une recherche personnelle qui lui vaut de figurer dans de prestigieuses collections publiques et privées (MEP, Bibliothèque Nationale, LVMH) et d’être exposé en Europe et aux Etats-Unis.

Il a enseigné la photographie pendant une décennie et son engagement pour la profession l’a conduit à devenir président de l’Union des Photographes Professionnels.

Freelance photographer, creative manager in a 3D communication agency and owner of an art gallery, former teacher in a parisian visual communication institute, Philippe Schlienger acquired a large experience in commercial works with major industrial companies in cosmetic and luxury business.

Widely published in magazines and books, he has complete for several years a personal work in authored photography that can be seen in diverse galleries, museums, public collections and monographs.

He received prestigious grants and numerous reviews where written about his work in Europe & U.S.

Beside this wide field of contributions, his commitment to the profession led him to become member of the UPP (the largest organization of professional photographers in France) where he is president since 2011.

Marie-Pierre SUBTIL

Journaliste au Monde pendant 22 ans, Marie-Pierre Subtil a couvert entre autres l'Afrique, les banlieues, la Russie, avant de devenir grand reporter.

Elle a quitté Le Monde pour devenir rédactrice en chef de 6 Mois, revue semestrielle de photojournalisme dont le premier numéro est paru au printemps 2012.
